Asian Pork Noodles Stir-fry



Enjoy a delicious Asian-inspired pork and noodle stir-fry with a mix of savory flavors and crunchy vegetables. This quick and easy dish is perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 250g pork loin, thinly sliced
  • 200g egg noodles
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions:

Follow the directions on the package to cook the egg noodles

After draining, set aside

In a wok or sizable skillet, heat the vegetable oil over high heat

Stir-fry the pork slices for two to three minutes, or until they begin to brown

Take out of the pan and place aside

Add a small amount of extra oil to the pan and stir-fry the minced garlic, ginger, and bell pepper for a duration of two minutes

Stir-fry the broccoli florets for an additional two minutes after adding them

After the pork has finished cooking, add the cooked noodles back to the pan

Add the sesame oil, oyster sauce, and soy sauce

Stir-fry, tossing everything together, for two to three more minutes

To taste, add salt and pepper for seasoning

Add some chopped green onions as a garnish, then serve hot

Roasted Vegetable Salad



Enjoy a delightful combination of perfectly roasted vegetables, mixed greens, and a tangy balsamic dressing in this roasted vegetable salad. It's a nutritious and flavorful choice for a quick lunch or light dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups mixed vegetables such as bell peppers, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 4 cups mixed greens such as spinach and arugula
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese crumbles
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 425F 220C

Cut the mixed vegetables into bite-sized pieces and place them on a baking sheet

Drizzle olive oil over the vegetables and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme

Toss to coat evenly

Roast the vegetables in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are tender and slightly caramelized, stirring once halfway through

While the vegetables are roasting, prepare the dressing by whisking together balsamic vinegar and honey in a small bowl

Once the vegetables are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly

In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens and roasted vegetables

Drizzle the balsamic dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat the greens and vegetables

Sprinkle feta cheese crumbles and toasted pine nuts on top of the salad

Serve immediately as a delicious and healthy roasted vegetable salad

Sushi Rolls



Japanese sushi rolls are made with seasoned rice, nori seaweed, and different kinds of fillings. They are tasty and can be made to fit your tastes. They are great for a meal that is both fun and social.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups sushi rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Nori seaweed sheets
  • Assorted fillings e

  • , cucumber, avocado, crab, salmon
  • Soy sauce, for serving
  • Wasabi, for serving
  • Pickled ginger, for serving

Instructions:

Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear

In a rice cooker, combine rice and water

Cook according to rice cooker instructions

In a small saucepan, heat rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved

Let cool

Once rice is cooked, transfer to a large bowl and gently fold in vinegar mixture

Let cool to room temperature

Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat

Spread a thin layer of rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top

Arrange desired fillings in a line along the center of the rice

Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, moistening the top border of the nori with water to seal

Slice the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces using a sharp knife

Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions:

Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C

Melt the butter and mix it with the brown sugar and white sugar in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth and fluffy

Adding the eggs one at a time and mixing them in is the next step

Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a different bowl

Slowly add this dry mix to the wet ones, mixing well after each addition

The chocolate chips should be carefully mixed in

Put parchment paper on the bottom of a baking sheet

Place spoonfuls of dough on the baking sheet that has been prepared, making sure there is enough space between each cookie

After the oven is hot, bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown

After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet

Then, move them to a wire rack to cool all the way down
